I understand the main concept of this tag process , but I'm either having a bad day or this is the most difficult one we have had yet. I certainly will need a lot more help than the tutorial that I listened to to be able to use the Del.icio.us site that I tried to register with. There was not enough information to be helpful for me. Maybe the words social and unstructured turned me off. I would not be interested in this for my own use, but someone could probably help me use this in a work situation.

I signed up with Rollyo http://www.rollyo.com/easternshore/. I created a searchscroll regarding health and medicine. This is a good site for people who might do alot of research.

I added Drop In Titles by Unshelved to my blog. This site is suppose to give information on brand new books before you can find it other places. I also added Unshelved which is comic strips about libraries. Some of these are good for a laugh!!

Blog thing #8
I can be viewed at http://www.librarything.com/catalog/daviscarter
This is interesting to see how many others chose the same books as I did.
I would like to hear from others who have read the Road

Regarding the RSS: I made a Blogline. My http://www.bloglines.com/public/janetc
This may be useful for many people.
I don't wish to have a large amount of information piled on me
at one time. If doing a paper or report about a subject this could
be helpful when working with a patron in the library.

I enjoyed looking for my name in myspace. I used my maiden name Ewell.
I found out what I already knew in that my ancesters came from the UK.
Most of the my space entries were from young people both men and women.
I also found out there there is a town in Surrey County that is named Ewell.

This one of my favorite movies. I have a copy of it.Looking at the Flickr was okay, but it does not impress me that much. I did open an account with Flickr. Maybe I can do something more in the future. Of course it never hurts to have a picture of a good looking man.

Thing 4 Oct. 22, 2007
I looked at several videos on you tube. I was not impressed. I did like the music ones by professional musicians. I looked at the library ones. Still not impressed. i guess it's just not my type of thing. I did down load a Roy Orbison singing video. One of the highlights of that was Springsteen singing with him and wearing a suit.
That's probably the last time that Springsteen wore a suit.

mentoring
Thing # 3 Oct. 15,2007
When I listened to the 7.5 habits of lifetime learners I thought of mentoring.
I have been doing that a very long time. In my past career as a nurse that was what
I did with the students. Then came my children who I mentored.
When I came to Pamunkey I was the one mentored. THANKS MYRA. After that I became the mentor. Something I have enjoyed very much.
